These are the house rules for using the Refinds app. They are short and meant to keep the app pleasant and safe for everyone.
Anyone can search and view shops and markets without an account. To share lists and (later) share photos you create a free account. You are responsible for what you post and share under your account.
If you share a day plan or a favourites list, collaborate respectfully with the people you invite. The owner of a list can add or remove members at any time.
Once photo sharing is available, these rules apply. You only share:
Shared photos are automatically reviewed before publication. You can also report content or users, and hide finds from a particular user locally. If you break these rules, we remove the content and may block uploading for an account.
Use Refinds as it is intended: do not do things that harm the service or disadvantage others. That means, at the very least, not:
The collection of shop and market data in Refinds is a database within the meaning of the Dutch Databases Act (implementing Directive 96/9/EC). Systematic extraction or re-utilisation of a substantial part of it is not permitted.
We compile the shop and market data with care, but cannot guarantee it is always complete, current or correct. Check important details (such as opening hours) with the shop or organiser directly. No rights can be derived from the data in the app.
Refinds is made to be read by people. We do not permit automated harvesting of the site or the app, nor the use of our content to train AI models, without our written permission. Would you like to obtain data or build an integration? Get in touch at support@refinds.eu — we are happy to think along.
Refinds is an informational guide. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of the app or from incorrect or incomplete data.
