Refinds is a guide to vintage, second-hand, brocante, antique and thrift shops and their markets. This policy describes what data we process through the Refinds app and why. We collect as little as possible and never sell data.
The core of the app (searching shops and markets, viewing them on the map, saving favourites and day plans) works entirely without an account. We only process the data below when you use the relevant feature.
If you share a day plan or a favourites list, the list name and the shops and markets in it are visible to the people you invite. The owner of a list can add or remove members.
If you grant permission, the app uses your location only while in use to show shops and markets near you. Your location is not linked to your account and not stored on our servers. If you decline, the app still works (using a default area).
Your favourites, day plans, recently viewed shops and language choice stay locally on your device. We do not collect this data. You erase it by deleting the app.
If you share a photo of a find, we process it as follows:
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time: in the app via Profile › Delete account, or by email. See the separate Delete account page.

We do not share or sell data to third parties for advertising or tracking. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software.
Our servers briefly record technical data (such as an IP address) for security and abuse prevention. We keep these logs for at most 14 days.
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to object to processing. For deletion you can use the app; for the other rights, email us.
