Refinds is a guide. This page sets out what you may expect of the information, how our texts come about, and what to do if something is wrong.
Refinds’ liability is governed by terms and conditions §13. We deliberately do not repeat it here, so that two versions of the same rule never exist. That we give no warranty on the data in the guide is set out in terms and conditions article 6; this page explains how the data come about.
A guide covering tens of thousands of independent shops and markets is never entirely up to date. A shop may unexpectedly be closed, move or cease trading; a market may be relocated or cancelled; opening hours change without anyone announcing it anywhere.
So always check for yourself with the shop or the organiser what matters to you — opening hours above all — before you set off. What you may legally expect of the information is set out in terms and conditions article 6.
The descriptions of shops, towns and regions, and their translations, are compiled by our editorial team on the basis of facts we established from our sources, partly with automated tools, and are then put through quality checks. We publish no text we cannot substantiate, and a shop owner can always have the text about their own business adjusted, or replace it with their own. A description is a description, never a recommendation or a judgement; no reviews, ratings or quotations are produced, and no text from other websites is copied or rewritten.

We link to websites of shops, organisers, map services and sources. We have no influence over the content of those websites, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on them.
Refinds shows shops and markets because they exist and fit the categories of the guide, not because we recommend them. At present we sell no positions, no paid placement and no featured listings. If paid placements ever appear, they will never influence whether and how a shop or market appears in the guide, and they will be clearly marked as such where they appear; see terms and conditions article 10.

What you may expect from us: we acknowledge every report and tell you what we did with it — including where we decide to change nothing. The period within which that happens, and why we name no fixed period for the correction itself, is set out in privacy statement §13. That is the leading document on this point for the whole set; we do not repeat the periods here, so that two of them can never arise.
